Commission (SSC) has
released the official notification for the Combined Graduate Level Examination
(CGL) 2025, inviting
applications from eligible candidates for 14,582 posts across various ministries,
departments, and organizations under the Government of India. This is one of
the most awaited recruitment drives of the year for graduates seeking
government jobs in administrative, auditing, statistical, enforcement, and
income tax roles.
The SSC CGL 2025 online
application process
began on 09 June 2025 and will continue until 04 July 2025 (11:00 PM). Candidates can apply

Grade-II require candidates to have specific qualifications in Mathematics or
Statistics.
The age limit varies by post, generally ranging

to 30 years as

August 2025, with
relaxations for candidates belonging to reserved categories. For example, posts
with an age limit of 18-27 years require the candidate to be born between
02-08-1998 and 01-08-2007. Similarly, for posts with age limits of 18-30 or
20-30 years, the cut-off dates vary accordingly.
The application fee is ₹100/- for General and OBC
candidates. However, female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, and PwD
categories are exempted from paying the fee.
The Tier I CBT (Computer
Based Test) is
scheduled to be conducted between 13 August to 30 August 2025, while the Tier II exam is
tentatively scheduled for December 2025. The admit cards for Tier I will be released region-wise
by the SSC in early August 2025.
The
posts under SSC CGL offer attractive pay levels ranging from Level 4 (₹25,500 –
₹81,100) to Level 7 (₹44,900 –
₹1,42,400) along
with various government benefits and allowances.
